ABOUT ME

I’m Erika Lopez, a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with two decades of experience in the mental health field. Since 2006, I’ve worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds in schools and community-based settings. Alongside my professional experience, my own lived experiences have also shaped the perspective I bring to my work today. These experiences inform the culturally aware and relational approach I bring to therapy.

My approach is genuine, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where you can show up fully as yourself without judgment, where we can have honest conversations, look beneath the surface, and still have room for humor along the way.

I integrate an attachment-focused approach to help you understand the emotional patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and others. I’ll meet you where you are while also gently challenging you toward greater self-awareness, self-trust, and healthier patterns.

My work focuses on helping women better understand themselves and how they experience romantic relationships. Whether you’re navigating relationship anxiety, self-worth struggles, boundaries, or uncertainty about what you want and need in a relationship, therapy can help you feel more grounded in yourself and more confident trusting your own voice.
